1. Introduction

Welcome to kgnodes. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and validator services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Definitions

  • Validator Services — node operation and transaction validation services provided by kgnodes across supported blockchain networks.
  • Staking — the process of delegating digital assets to a validator node to support network consensus.
  • Slashing — a network-level penalty in which a portion of staked assets may be forfeited due to validator downtime, misbehavior, or protocol violations.
  • Delegators / Users — individuals or entities who delegate digital assets to validator nodes operated by kgnodes.
  • Non-Custodial Operation — a mode of service in which kgnodes never holds, controls, or has access to a user's private keys or digital assets.

4. Description of Services

kgnodes operates validator nodes across multiple blockchain networks (mainnet and testnet), and provides related infrastructure such as monitoring, technical guides, and staking support. While we aim for high reliability and uptime, we do not guarantee specific staking rewards or uninterrupted service availability, as these depend in part on blockchain network conditions outside our control.

5. Non-Custodial Nature

kgnodes operates on a strictly non-custodial basis:

  • We never hold, control, or have access to your private keys, wallets, or digital assets.
  • Delegation and staking occur directly on-chain, between your wallet and our validator address.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your own wallet, private keys, and access credentials.

6. Risks and Limitations

Using blockchain-based staking services involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Market Volatility — the value of digital assets can fluctuate significantly; kgnodes is not responsible for losses resulting from price movements.
  • Network Risks — blockchain congestion, outages, consensus failures, or governance changes may affect service availability or rewards; these are outside kgnodes' control.
  • Slashing Risk — validator downtime or protocol violations may result in a penalty applied to delegated assets.
  • Protocol Risk — bugs, exploits, or unexpected behavior in the underlying blockchain protocol are not within kgnodes' control and are not our responsibility.

7. Slashing Events and Compensation

If a slashing event occurs and is directly attributable to an error or negligence on kgnodes' part in operating the validator, we may, at our discretion, offer compensation up to the slashed amount. kgnodes is not responsible for slashing events caused by blockchain protocol vulnerabilities, network-wide incidents, or actions of third parties.

8. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for complying with any tax obligations or legal requirements applicable to your staking activity in your jurisdiction.
  • You are encouraged to independently monitor your delegated assets and validator performance.
  • You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could disrupt or harm our infrastructure.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — belongs to kgnodes and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior permission.

10. Service Growth

kgnodes is an independent, professionally operated validator initiative. As our operations grow, these Terms may be revised to reflect expanded services, additional networks, or future organizational changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Turkey.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Effective Date" above will be updated accordingly.
